If you were to visit the DBC2 office and meet us all, you will find out pretty quickly that the one thing we all have in common (apart from the whole marketing thing) is that we are passionate car enthusiasts, especially when sitting behind the wheel.
So, when an opportunity presented for us to upgrade our in-house racing simulator by Specialised Engineering, we didn’t think twice about it.
Specialised Engineering is an Australian-owned company, established by Dale Carpenter in 2007, that specialises in concept development, CAD design and prototype production for a range of industries – in particular the automotive sector.
Infact, it has supplied specialist components for Formula 1 and Supercars, so not only do they know their stuff, but you know you can trust them to deliver every time.
It’s why DBC2 was delighted when Dale and his team designed and developed our fully customised SE Motorsports Turnkey Simrig.
The final result of this cutting-edge piece of technology was indeed worth the wait thanks to the range of specialised modifications, including:
- 1 Exodus integrated Triple screen rig
- Racing seat and slider
- Keyboard and mouse tray combo
- Custom gaming PC
- Simagic M10 Wheel and Simrigs loadcell pedals
- Fanatec Shifter USB Combo
- Vertex Dash
At DBC2 we are so lucky, we get to talk about cars and work on exciting automotive initiatives on a daily basis, it’s why we are Australia’s Automotive Marketing Specialists and an important partner to some of the biggest auto brands in the country.
But it can’t be all work and no play, it’s why our digital growth specialists, graphic designers and account managers all like to slam the brakes, put on the race gloves and booties, and get behind the wheel of the SIM!
The SE Motorsports SIM offers such a realistic driving experience that it transforms our office into a whole new world of automotive heaven, especially when hitting the twisties at the iconic Mount Panorama Motor Racing Circuit – home of the Bathurst 12-Hour and Supercars Bathurst 1000.
