Ready for our close-ups

As part of our recent Staff Photo Shoot day, amongst the videography contingent we also called on the talented Sid from Ooft Media to immortalise a few cars from our fleet with his clean and crisp photographic style.

First up was our well known 2017 Mustang project car; 1LITGT.

Striking Grabber Blue paint, Momo wheels, and the full catalogue of Ford Performance upgrades from Herrod Performance.

And let’s not forget the 700hp on tap thanks to the Roush supercharged Coyote engine.

Up next was a relatively new member of the fleet, a recently-acquired 2016 Audi RS3 belonging to Mitch Brittain, Client Services Director.

On-trend Nardo Grey paint combined with Group-B DNA in the way of a 5-cylinder turbo powerplant and G-force inducing Quattro drivetrain.

This particular one has already been fettled with by way of a Stage 1 software tune , with many more mods planned in the not-too-distant future.

Back to the Blue Oval marquee (and blue paintwork) sees Ryan’s Ford Focus RS enter the fold.

With Ford having done such an amazing job with the rally-bred appearance of the RS, Ryan has concentrated on performance mods first, such as an intake, larger intercooler with matching piping and a HKS SSQV blow-off-valve.

It also has a straight-through 3” exhaust system from turbo to tip, you’ll no doubt hear this Focus before you see it.

Rounding-out the shoot was the oldest member of the fleet, Anth’s 1969 Datsun 1600.

The driveline, however, is not of the same vintage as the rest of the car, packing an EFI twin cam 2-litre FJ20 turbo, R32 Skyline gearbox, and LSD-equipped diff. The wheels are Work Ewing III, which were imported from Japan and treated to a full restoration.

Anth had only just completed an interior overhaul days before the shoot, with a pair of Recaro LX-C taking pride of place, and has no plans to stop the modifications any time soon.

DBC2 would like to thank Sid from Ooft Media for his time and talent in capturing our ever-evolving fleet, and look forward to working with him in the future. We practice what we preach and are all car-nuts to the core, so if you have any questions or queries about any of our rides, feel free to drop us a line.
