Rare Spares unveils its new Ford Focus

Rare Spares unveils its new Ford FocusRare Spares, Australia’s leading automotive aftermarket restoration brand, announced a major push into the aftermarket Ford restoration parts market last weekend at MotorEx 12 in Sydney Olympic Park, with the newly unveiled Rare Spares Ford Restoration Parts Program.

Rare Spares General Manager, David Rayner OAM outlined an ongoing commitment to providing the largest range of aftermarket Ford restoration parts in the Australian market, and an increased investment in new Ford product development, substantially increasing Rare Spares’ current Ford offering over the next 12 months.

“Rare Spares currently offer over 2500 parts for Ford models, and we expect that number to increase under this new initiative,” he said.

“Our aim is to be able to offer our customers everything they need to restore a Ford using reproduction parts that are of an equal or greater quality to their original counterparts. We are confident that with the Rare Spares’ Ford Restoration Parts Program we will be able to achieve this.

“We are currently in the process of signing an agreement with the Ford Motor Company to get factory support. If we can achieve this, the results will benefit not only Rare Spares, but also our many customers.

“We look forward to being able to continue helping Ford enthusiasts live their dreams of owning and restoring classic Fords.”

Through the Rare Spares Ford Restoration Parts Program, restorers will now have access to authentic badges, decals, wheel caps and trims, engine and cooling components, electrical components, lamps and lenses, from the 1960 Ford XK, the first Ford Falcon sold in Australia, right up to the current models.

V8 Supercar Legend and Rare Spares Ambassador John Bowe said that Rare Spares’ increased focus on Ford parts and accessories was something a large number of restoration enthusiasts had been asking for.

“Everyone knows that Rare Spares supplies the largest range of Holden restoration parts on the market, but now I believe that we can confidently say the same about Rare Spares’ Ford range,” said Bowe.

“In my 37 year involvement in Australian motorsport, I’ve rarely strayed behind the wheel of a Ford. Ford has a unique place in Australian automotive history, and it’s fantastic to see a company like Rare Spares helping to keep that heritage alive.”

Rare Spares Ford Restoration Parts will be available soon in all Rare Spares distributor stores across Australia and New Zealand, and on the Rare Spares online store. To find out more information, visit www.rarespares.net.au
