DBC2 were instrumental in the creation of the Rare Spares Legend Award and as a result are extremely proud of how successful this prestigious award has become and how well it has been embraced by the industry in general. The award was again presented on the Saturday evening of Summernats 29 in front of thousands of automotive enthusiasts.
This year’s winner was Tony O’Donnell, a well-respected automotive industry stalwart that has served the interests of the broader automotive community selflessly for over 20 years.
Tony sought and succeeded in unifying the car community to bring about changes in the laws surrounding automotive regulations. The flow on effect of his work has been beneficial to enthusiasts across the country.
David Rayner, the General Manager of Rare Spares, presented the exclusive and personalised golden helmet.
